Navigating the complexities of modern life.

My practice is rooted in a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological challenges that arise during major life transitions, including career changes, relationship shifts, relocation, loss, and personal growth. I provide a safe and confidential space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals as they move through these significant changes.

A core focus of my work is helping individuals achieve and maintain life balance. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s common to feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. I work collaboratively with clients to identify sources of stress and imbalance, and to develop strategies that foster resilience, clarity, and well-being. Through individualized sessions, we uncover underlying patterns and work toward sustainable change that aligns with personal values and goals.

Additionally, I specialize in reproductive mental health, supporting clients through the unique psychological experiences associated with fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, miscarriage, and perinatal loss. These deeply personal experiences can bring emotional intensity, and I provide compassionate guidance tailored to each individual’s journey. Whether you are planning to conceive, coping with uncertainty, or adjusting to new parenthood, I offer support grounded in clinical expertise and genuine care.

My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based practices, always tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I am committed to helping individuals feel empowered, connected, and supported as they navigate their inner worlds and external realities.

Together, we work toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of purpose and balance.

My Training & Professional Background

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over two decades of experience supporting individuals through both everyday challenges and life-defining transitions. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, where I received advanced training in Psychodynamic theory, evidence-based therapies including cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and relational approaches.

Throughout my career, I’ve remained committed to inclusive and culturally responsive care. During graduate school, I served as a Teaching Assistant in Cultural Diversity for three consecutive years, and later taught as an adjunct faculty member at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

My clinical work has increasingly focused on reproductive mental health, including infertility, pregnancy loss, and third-party reproduction. I served as Chair of the Mental Health Professional Group Executive Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and continue to present nationally and internationally on topics such as patient resilience, emotional wellbeing in fertility treatment, and donor conception. I also serve as a manuscript reviewer for Human Reproduction and mentor professionals through ASRM’s Mental Health Group.

This foundation—rooted in clinical science, cultural humility, and deep empathy—guides the care I provide every day.
